Synchrony Venture Management seeks to invest in companies that offer a high level of strategic opportunity – and impact – for our clients. In order to achieve these results, our investment strategy is guided by the following:
- We invest in companies where there is an immediate or near-term opportunity for an operating relationship with our client.
- We evaluate investment opportunities based on both strategic return and financial return. We look at the potential value-creation for the client and the portfolio company rather than the expected ROI on invested capital.
- We seek situations in which investment leads to a near term strategic relationship between you -- our portfolio company -- and our client -- the investor.
- As an external organization, we provide discipline to the investment process to benefit both our clients and our portfolio companies.
