Office Manager / Executive Assistant (Posted: April 18th, 2012)
We are looking for one individual to join our small, quickly expanding, professional services firm. This role will provide general administrative support to the entire staff, and will serve as the ‘right hand’ of the Managing Director.
Responsibilities Include:
- Calendar management, travel arrangements and personal appointments
- Oversee the bookkeeper and assist with accounting tasks as necessary to produce accurate monthly reports
- Working with a remote support firm, oversee company IT and communications needs
- Support hiring and HR administration
- Support preparation of internal documents and properly archive digital assets
- Record and transcribe meeting minutes as necessary
- Answer incoming phone calls and field calls appropriately
- Research purchase of office equipment, supplies and vendors

Candidate Requirements:

Summer Marketing & Operations Intern (Posted: March 8th, 2012)
This position will support Synchrony’s marketing efforts under the guidance of the Marketing Manager and the Operations Manager. This position will assist in various marketing, sales and administration initiatives.
Responsibilities Include:
- Analyze the performance metrics of the company website
- Monitor and maintain social media streams
- Perform market research
- Assist in managing mailing lists and CRM system.
- Support the preparation and production of outbound communications
- Assist operations staff in supporting scheduling, administration and executive projects

Working with client-side domain experts, assist with assessing the potential for clients' technology portfolios to be improved by partnering with external innovators (entrepreneurs, university spin-outs, etc.), and developing tools to support and optimize the assessment process.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in creating summaries for identified technology areas of interest based on research and interviews with clients.
- Identify and assess opportunities to apply technology-based solutions to improve client products & services
- Assist in locating and summarizing companies working in technology areas of interest.
